the meeting to order at 7:05 PM.
Motion to approve the May
16, 2001 minutes by Joan Weiss. Seconded by Bart Olson. Approved.
Motion to adopt agenda by
Bart Olson. Seconded by Joan Weiss. Approved.
Motion to approve Treasurers
Report as printed by Bob Cushing. Seconded by Al Checky. Approved.
Communications: None
A discussion on mailing of
minutes to all board members and hangar owners was reopened as per the
motion made at the October 18, 2000 meeting. A motion was made by Joan Weiss
to continue sending the notices indefinitely or until such time as the
subject is reopened. Seconded by Bart Olson. Approved.
Milt Zech Memorial: The park
bench has arrived and the memorial is in the final stages of completion. Al
Checky suggested a news release and pictures with the Zech family once the
memorial is complete. All members agreed.
Bart Olson submitted the
letter sent to Dale Ballweg regarding concerns about the airport property
and it's potential damage by farm equipment. Mr. Olson received a follow-up
call from Mr. Ballweg and it appears that he is in agreement and will abide
by the regulations.
Olson Airport Proposal: Bart
Olson updated the board members on his meeting June 19, 2001 at 4PM, Village
of Prairie du Sac with the Economic Development Committee and Town of
Prairie du Sac. It appears that the adjacent farmers/land owners are not in
approval of the airport proposal at this time but there is still much more
that can be done to accomplish the expansion. Anyone wishing further

President Olson asked if
